About the role

We are looking for a lunch employee for our studio in Amsterdam. You put a tasty, healthy and varied lunch on the table for our colleagues every day. You are free to put together the weekly menu yourself. You set the table and ensure that there is something extra on the table every day, such as soup, salad, falafel sandwich or tasty pasta. We like to be surprised! In addition, you ensure that you place orders every week, tidy up and, where necessary, take on some small tasks such as the mail or the telephone. There is space and freedom for your initiative and ideas.

About 25 people work in the studio every day and occasionally 50 people on busy days. We have lunch between 12:00 and 1:00 PM. You ensure that lunch is ready at 12:00 noon and cleared away around 2:00 pm. You are a go-getter who is interested in the team and enjoys having a chat with colleagues between work. You are open to ideas from the team and enjoy arranging everything around lunch independently. If you have any questions, you can always contact Nora, our office manager who works in Rotterdam.

What do you need?

• You like healthy food. You are familiar with Vegan/vegetarian and the latest trends in coffee.

• You live in Amsterdam.

• If you would like to help out occasionally when we have a drink or event at the studio (during the day), that is an advantage.

• You are available 5 days (Mon-Fri) during lunch hours (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.). 4 days is negotiable.

• You have good communication skills in Dutch and English (we also have English-speaking colleagues).

• You are flexible and can switch quickly (if 10 extra people suddenly join us for lunch, you can easily solve this and you will not get stressed).

• You are enthusiastic, enjoy your work and easily make contact with colleagues and customers.

• You have experience making lunch for about 30 people a day, or you are handy in the kitchen and can quickly master this.

• You will of course enjoy lunch with us, we offer chair massages and we regularly have drinks or a fun outing together. 

• Naturally, you will receive a salary (€2,100 - €3,000 based on 40 hours per week), you will accrue vacation days and we will register you for pension.
